This two crazy fella woke up early morning & set off at 6am from Klang. Got to sacrifice our Saturday sleeping hour. Jimmy sign up for the compact category while I’m in for DSLR.

Dress up with Canon brand & ready to go..

I’m struggling whether I should shoot a straight forward photo or think out of box kind of stuff. I always impress by photographer who able to capture the story behind a scene. Therefore I told myself I want this kind of stuff for this assignment. Even if I couldn’t get any prizes, I still have what I want.
This is the first shot after the flagged off. Saw a couple with their kid in trolley waiting at road side. I find it might be quite interesting to have a kid to represent the people who indulged in this city. So i asked them permission to capture this at low angle & some room for the architectures. Do you spot there’s a tree underneath the Monorail bridge? I only notice it when I view from PC. That’s the most beautiful tree I ever seen.

As I walk further, I found a small road leading to the back lane of shop lot. I think it would be good idea to find something there. And tada! I got this man holding roasted pork look delicious. He dip it with some sauce (secret recipe) before put into the big tank.

After cover some back lane & dirty places, I advance to the most happening spot in KL. I saw a signboard nail on the tree stated ‘lorry for rent’ which caught my attention. I trying few shots to get a nice composition but seem missing something. Then I put down my camera to find for better view. In an instance a guy passing by with a trolley on my right. So I quickly recompose & take this shot. Gotcha! Man, that’s a quick one.
I have great sense with this photo because when I was young, I used to carry gas tank & water like him everyday as my mom work as hawker to support our livings. Those are the sweet & sour days.

There go theme B collected at Pavillion.

Didn’t I said shhhh…

The 3rd station is located in KLCC. There we take a rest & had our lunch. The 3rd theme ‘Goes Green’ sound simple but it’s broad by its means. I only found out there’s swimming pool & playground for kid while loitering in KLCC’s park. There were parents spending over their weekend with their child. Some just sitting & watching the children playing in the pool.
I’m searching for green at this moment & found this kid so nervous playing swing. Of course she is not alone but with her mama assist beside who is not been captured here.

We finished our assignment at about 2pm+ & it was damn tiring. My gf also happen to be around there to support me after celebrated a farewell of her colleague. Thanks Wendy. Give you some rub rub.

Jimmy’s photo been selected for the slideshow presentation. Pretty close to grand prize :P

The winner of New Zealand trip goes to uncle minum kopi…

The result had delayed for about 2 hours which enough to make all of us frustrated. Nevertheless it was a nice experience for me to discover the places I went & the people I met. There are many more to tell here.

(* Due to the request from client, I have to turn off the slideshow for security purpose)
Oct is an peaceful month for me because I only have 1 wedding assignment. Thank God. I can sleep earlier, more time for my gf, watch movie drama, hang out with friends & as well as plan for Christmas carol project.
Anyway I have a great time in this wedding. This is another family who loved to sing especially Meng Tze’s dad. And the guy who sing ‘Beautiful Girls’ by Sean Kingston is awesome too!
For this assignment alone, I been able to try with my 2 new lenses & I’m pretty satisfied with the result.
Nov will be a busy month. Meaning from now on, I have to eat more, sleep more & gym as many as I could. Till then..

Sold my Sony 50mm f1.4, Minolta 70-210 f4 & CZ 16-70mm finally. It seems the demand is much more higher compare before the recent convention. More & more Sony kaki can be seen at the street. It simply amazing to know they stand in market about 15% in this short time.
After 1 year of consideration, now I invited 3 buddies to join my family which are VG-C70AM (battery grip), Sony 11-18mm & Sony 70-200mm f2.8.
I made a round up with my new gears at Honda Jazz Road Show, 1U.
